MET proudly congratulates Dr. Vijaya Patil, Associate Professor, MET Institute of Pharmacy, on receiving the Best Poster Award at NPFT 2026 – Natural Products for Future Therapeutics held from 4th to 6th February 2026.
The award-winning poster, “Phytochemical Intervention in Alzheimer’s Neurodegeneration: Insights from Drosophila Model,” presented significant findings on the neuroprotective potential of phytochemicals using a validated Drosophila model for Alzheimer’s disease.
The research work carried out by Dr. Vijaya Patil, Ms. Krishna Fatak, Ms. Apoorva Gajula, Ms. Divya Kawa, and Ms. Lavanya Ravindran was appreciated by the expert jury for its innovation, scientific merit, and contribution towards future therapeutic development.
This achievement reflects MET’s continued commitment to fostering research excellence, innovation, and impactful scientific advancements.
