MET Institute of Mass Media, in collaboration with Academy of Beauty with Creativity – Makeup School, powered by Kryolan, officially launched the Diploma in SFX & Prosthetic Makeup—a programme designed for aspiring artists who want to turn imagination into extraordinary characters and bring stories to life.
The launch brought together leaders from education, media, filmmaking, beauty and the entertainment industry, including Mr. Pankaj Bhujbal, Hon. Trustee, Mumbai Educational Trust; Mrs. Vishakha Bhujbal, Sr. Management Representative, Mumbai Educational Trust; Dr. Priya Menon Nair, Director, MET Institute of Mass Media; Dr. Mukesh Sharma, Media Educator, Filmmaker & Visionary Leader in Public Broadcasting; Mr. Allen John, CEO, ABC Academy; Mr. Prammod Sanghi, Actor & Filmmaker; and Mr. Manmohan Thorat, Educator, Photographer, Car Drifting (Motorsports) Trainer & Stunt Driver.
From character transformations and prosthetic applications to the artistry behind cinematic effects, the event offered a glimpse into the creative possibilities that SFX and prosthetic makeup can unlock for the next generation of storytellers.
