MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree) successfully conducted a two-day Faculty Development Programme on "Hands-on Approach to Transforming Pharmacy Education through Python, Machine Learning & AI" on 17th & 18th July 2026, led by Dr. Omprakash Mandge.
The FDP provided 28 faculty participants with an immersive, hands-on learning experience covering the fundamentals of Python programming, machine learning, healthcare data analysis, and AI applications in pharmacy. Through practical exercises and interactive sessions, participants explored how emerging technologies can enhance teaching, research, and innovation in pharmaceutical sciences.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation and received positive feedback, reflecting the growing commitment of pharmacy educators towards embracing AI-driven advancements in education and research.
