MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IP Intellect Services, Pune, to strengthen industry–academia collaboration and create enhanced opportunities for student skill development, innovation, practical learning and career advancement.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Abha Doshi, Principal, MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree), and Dr Mahesh Jadhav, CEO and Director, IP Intellect Services, Pune.
Building on the success of the institute’s previous internship programme conducted by Dr Mahesh Jadhav and Mr. Mohit Patwardhan, Alumni, MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree), the collaboration was formalised through the proactive efforts of the Industry–Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC), coordinated by Dr. Bhagyashri Joshi, Assistant Professor, MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree).
The partnership will facilitate training sessions and workshops on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and patent filing, internships, project guidance, industry interactions and career development opportunities.
Ms. Sheeja Koliyote, IIPC Member, and Ms. Vrushali Keer, IIC Coordinator, MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree), were also present at the MoU signing.
This strategic partnership reinforces the institute’s commitment to experiential learning, innovation, enhanced employability and preparing industry-ready pharmacy professionals.
