MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma) students from the second year visited P.D. Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai, on 11 September 2026 for an enriching educational visit.
The visit provided students with practical exposure to hospital pharmacy operations, medication dispensing, drug storage, inventory management, medication safety, and the role of pharmacists in patient care.
Interactions with experienced hospital professionals helped students connect classroom concepts with real-world practices and understand the importance of accuracy, responsibility, teamwork and patient-centred care in hospital pharmacy.
A valuable learning experience that brought students closer to the realities of professional pharmacy practice.
