MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma) conducted an insightful guest lecture on Cybercrime Security for diploma pharmacy students on 3rd November 2025. The session was delivered by Mr. Jotinder Ahluwalia, Governing Committee Member of the Rotary Club of Mumbai.
Mr. Ahluwalia began by defining cybercrime as any criminal activity involving a computer, networked device, or the internet. He highlighted how the rise of remote work, cloud systems, and smart devices has increased exposure to digital threats, making individuals and organisations equally vulnerable. He emphasized that cybersecurity is no longer solely an IT concern but a shared responsibility for all technology users.
