MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree) celebrated Naag Panchami on 17th August 2026 with a traditional Pooja conducted by the teaching and non-teaching staff, followed by an informative presentation by the Second-Year B.Pharm students.
The presentation explored the mythological origins and cultural significance of Naag Panchami, traditional rituals associated with the festival, and the importance of serpent worship in Indian heritage. Students also highlighted the ecological role of snakes and the need to protect wildlife and preserve biodiversity.
The celebration provided students with an opportunity to connect with cultural heritage while strengthening their research, public speaking and organisational skills.
