MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma) celebrated National Service Scheme (NSS) Day on 24th September 2026, with an engaging programme aimed at creating awareness among D. Pharm. students about the objectives, values and importance of NSS.
The programme focused on the role and responsibilities of NSS volunteers and highlighted the significance of community service, social responsibility, discipline, teamwork and active participation in social initiatives.
Students were encouraged to contribute to society through awareness drives, cleanliness activities, health and hygiene campaigns, environmental initiatives and other community-oriented programmes.
The celebration helped students understand how NSS can foster a spirit of service, leadership and social responsibility, while encouraging them to make a meaningful contribution to the community.
