MET Institute of Pharmacy organised an institute-level Nukkad Natak (Street Play) on 14th October 2026 as part of World Pharmacist Day / National Pharmacy Week 2026, under the theme “Swastha Bharat: Combating Antimicrobial Resistance.”
Through creative storytelling and impactful performances, 12 students highlighted the dangers of antibiotic misuse, self-medication, and incomplete antibiotic courses. The street play emphasised the importance of rational antibiotic use, adherence to medical advice, and the vital role of pharmacists in combating Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).
The activity also fostered communication skills, teamwork, creativity, and social responsibility among students, reinforcing the message that responsible antibiotic practices are essential for a healthier society.
