On 9th March 2023, MET Institute of Post Graduate Diploma in Management organised a visit to 'Mhatre Engineering Works, Vasai' for the students of Operations under the guidance of Prof. Mangesh Pawar, Assistant Professor, MET PGDM.

During the visit, the students were able to gain valuable insights into the manufacturing process of various types of moulds. They learned about the functions of the VMC machine, the steps involved in creating a mould and the use of tools such as the Boring Bar, Hauser machine, Universal Milling Machine, Micrometre and Drill machine for tapping and threading.

This visit was an excellent opportunity for the students to gain practical knowledge about these renowned machines that they may encounter in their future careers.
