MET Institute of Management hosted an engaging and insightful session on “Personal Branding – Unleash Your Invisible Power” conducted by Prof. Kim Solomon, Founder and Director of Innovate Beauty International, on 31st March 2026.

The session underscored that personal branding is fundamentally shaped by how individuals are perceived, often even before they communicate verbally. Prof. Solomon introduced the three core pillars of personal branding—perception, emotional impact, and consistency—highlighting their critical role in building a strong and lasting personal image. Students were further acquainted with the VIBES framework, comprising Visual Presence, Impression, Broadcast, Energy, and Scent. Special emphasis was placed on scent as an often overlooked yet highly influential element of personal branding, capable of leaving a lasting subconscious impression.

The session concluded with an interactive activity in which students explored appropriate scent choices for various contexts such as professional environments, social gatherings, and fitness settings. This practical exercise enhanced engagement and reinforced the application of key concepts, making the session both impactful and memorable.
