MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma) organized an educational visit to the wholesale pharmaceutical premises of Toras Impex on 2nd December 2025 for second-year students. The visit offered students first-hand exposure to the operational framework of the wholesale pharmaceutical sector, with a focused understanding of supply chain management, inventory control systems, pricing strategies, and regulatory compliance essential to the industry.
The students also participated in an informative interaction with industry professionals, gaining deeper insights into oncology, critical care medicines, and injectable formulations. The session further enhanced their knowledge of drug procurement processes, storage requirements, and market demand dynamics. This experiential learning opportunity significantly contributed to building practical, industry-oriented skills, preparing students for future professional roles in the pharmaceutical sector.
