MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree) recognises the valuable contribution of Dr. Abha Doshi, Principal, who participated as a panelist at the ESFE Conclave 2026, held at NESCO, Goregaon East, Mumbai.
The panel discussion, “Are We Assessing the Learners We Want to Create?”, explored the need to rethink traditional examination systems that often place excessive emphasis on marks and measurable outcomes, potentially limiting students’ creativity, innovation, resilience and curiosity.
Dr. Doshi emphasised the importance of moving beyond conventional assessment methods towards diverse, student-centric approaches that nurture critical thinking, problem-solving, experiential learning and independent thought.
Her key message highlighted the true purpose of education: to go beyond examination performance and empower learners to become curious, creative, resilient and lifelong learners.
