MET Institute of Pharmacy organised an institute-level Scientific Poster Presentation Competition on 6th October 2026 to raise awareness about Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). A total of 14 students from Degree and Diploma programmes participated, presenting scientific posters on antibiotic misuse, resistance mechanisms, preventive measures, and the rational use of antibiotics.
The posters were evaluated by a panel of judges comprising Dr. Poonam Advani, Professor, MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree); Mrs. Vrushali Keer, Assistant Professor, MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree); and Mrs. Dipali Khabale, Lecturer, MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma).
The competition encouraged scientific thinking, creativity, and effective communication while highlighting the importance of responsible antibiotic use in combating antimicrobial resistance.
