On 11th March, the MET Incubation Centre, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized an insightful session on “Start-up Legal & Ethical Steps” as part of the IIC Calendar Activity (Quarter 3).

The session was conducted by Mr. Abhishek Arun Jajoo, an Intellectual Property Consultant, who provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the legal and regulatory aspects involved in starting a business. The discussion covered key areas such as company registration, compliance requirements, financial considerations, and the importance of ethical business practices. Mr. Jajoo also emphasized the role of transparency, accountability, and responsible decision-making in building sustainable and credible startups.

The event commenced with a formal inauguration, setting the stage for an engaging session focused on entrepreneurship and innovation. The program was graced by the presence of Dr. Vaishali Kulkarni, Head, MET Incubation Centre; Dr. Manmeet Barve, Dean-Academics, MET Incubation Centre; Mr. Abhijeet Wairagade, Assistant Professor, MET PGDM and Mr. Sandesh Akre, Assistant Professor, MET IOM. Their presence and encouragement inspired students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities and gain deeper insights into the legal foundations of launching and managing successful startups. The session proved to be highly informative, offering valuable guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs and strengthening their understanding of the regulatory and ethical dimensions of starting a business.
