MET Institute of Mass Media welcomed Sophy Sivaraman at MET Institute of Mass Media on 2nd April 2026.
A prominent voice in the documentary film space and Co-founder & Foundation Director of the Indian Documentary Foundation, Sophy has consistently worked towards strengthening the documentary ecosystem in India. Her journey across documentary and television production including projects like Blue Hope and Lost Recipes S1 (2025) reflects a deep commitment to meaningful storytelling.
During the Interaction with Students, what stood out most was how naturally the conversation moved from storytelling to purpose-driven media reminding students that content is not just about creation, but about impact.
The session left PGP MCMM students inspired, motivated, and eager to contribute towards creating impact in society. At MET IMM, we strongly believe in exposing students to such meaningful dialogues.
