MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree) students participated in a tree plantation drive by the DLLE committee of MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree) in collaboration with Morning Walker's team at Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Borivali, on 31st August 2026. The initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness and encourage students to protect nature.
Students actively participated in planting various plants and learned about the importance of trees in improving air quality, reducing pollution, conserving soil, and maintaining biodiversity.
After the plantation activity, students explored the park for some time to gain knowledge about different plants, animals, birds, and wildlife. The experience helped them understand the importance of forests in maintaining ecological balance. The drive was an informative and meaningful experience that encouraged students to contribute towards a greener environment.
