MET Institute of Pharmacy celebrated Vachan Prerna Diwas (Reading Inspiration Day) on 15 October 2026, commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. Organised by the Institute Library, the programme encouraged students to embrace reading as a lifelong habit through a book display, quiz, paragraph reading activity and pledge-taking ceremony.
Dr. Abha Doshi, Principal, MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree), inspired students to cultivate a love for reading and continuous learning. Quiz winners received books authored by Dr. Kalam, celebrating his inspiring thoughts and vision.
The celebration reinforced the importance of reading in expanding knowledge, enhancing language skills and nurturing curiosity and creativity.
