As a part of the Social & Sustainability Club initiative, students of the MMS 2025–27 at MET Institute of Management visited a Mumbai-based School for Visually Impaired Girls on 3rd October 2025.
The objective of the visit was to engage with the students, understand their daily experiences, and identify the challenges they face. Applying the principles of Design Thinking, the MMS students practiced empathetic problem-solving by actively listening, observing, and ideating meaningful solutions aimed at improving the quality of life for the visually impaired.
This experiential initiative not only enhanced their academic learning but also instilled in them the values of empathy, social responsibility, and sustainability - key pillars of holistic management education at MET Institute of Management.
