On 25 March 2026, MET AMDC conducted a seminar on “War in West Asia: Challenges Before India,” providing students with in-depth insights into the impact of geopolitical developments on business strategy and global trade.
Ms. Dharmistha Gala elaborated on the complex evolution of conflicts in West Asia, offering a nuanced perspective on the region’s dynamics. Col. Dr. Ravindra Tripathi examined the history, escalation, and global implications of the US–Iran conflict, with a focus on its effects on geopolitical stability and energy security.
Dr. Nitin Kulkarni highlighted the financial consequences of the ongoing energy crisis, particularly its influence on oil prices, inflation, and India’s economy as a major energy importer.
The seminar successfully enabled students to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world developments, enhancing their understanding of global risks while strengthening their strategic and analytical capabilities.
