MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma) organized World Breastfeeding Week 2026 from 1st to 7th August 2026 through an awareness programme conducted by D.Pharm students.
Through an informative presentation, students highlighted the benefits of breast milk, the importance of exclusive breastfeeding, maternal and infant health and the role of family and community support.
The initiative strengthened students’ health-education and communication skills while promoting greater awareness about breastfeeding and its role in the healthy growth and development of infants.
