Dr. Rashmi Bhadani, Assistant Professor - HR, MET Institute of Management, Mumbai, presented her research paper titled “Forecasting Absenteeism in the Modern Workplace: A Predictive HR Analytics Approach to Stress and Burnout” at PAN IIM World Management Conference 2025, held on 27-29 November 2025 at IIM RANCHI. The theme of the conference was “Driving Social Impact through Management Research.”
This research paper focused on predicting stress inducted absenteeism in thw organzition using machine learning. This research aims to provide HR professionals with early warning, enabling them to proactively implement HR interventions to reduce absenteeism and improve employee well-being. Further, this research aims to offer an actionable model for reducing unplanned absenteeism and managing the well-being of employees.
