A session on “Your Brain, Your Spine, Your Future” was conducted for students of MCA & PGDM at Mumbai Educational Trust on 14th August 2026 by Dr. Renuka Sharma, Consulting Neurosurgeon.
The session focused on promoting awareness about brain and spinal health and responding appropriately during emergencies. She shared practical tips for maintaining a healthy spine and preventing spinal injuries.
Dr. Sharma also explained the precautions an onlooker should take while assisting an accident victim, emphasizing the importance of avoiding unnecessary movement. The session further covered how to identify warning signs and assess the severity of headaches, including when consultation with a neurologist is advisable. The session was informative, practical, and highly relevant to students.
