BSc (Hons) Cyber Security and Networking

Top-up degree awarded by University of Central Lancashire (UCLan)

The BSc (Hons) Cyber Security and Networking top-up degree is delivered online by NCC Education and is a natural progression from Level 5 Diploma in Computing (second year of the graduation degree) with Cyber Security.

The programme aims to equip graduates with the technical knowledge and interpersonal skills necessary for taking part in the design, implementation, management and security of modern computer systems.

This final year of degree programme will enable the graduates to work as professional cyber security practitioners, able to meet the responsibilities and challenges demanded and highly sought after, in the cyber security industry.
By working in partnership with CompTIA (one of the IT industry’s top trade associations in the UK), graduates of this programme will be offered the opportunity to achieve an additional professional IT certificate in either Cyber Security (CySA+) or Cloud Infrastructure (Cloud+).
This particular programme equips students with technical computing skills that will enable them to enter a number of varied senior roles in the following areas:
1. Security Analyst
2. Database Administrator
3. Security Engineer
4. Systems Analysis
5. Security Consultant/Specialist
6. Systems Design

Eligibility: Successful completion of 12th or equivalent course from any recognized Board or Level 3 International Foundation Diploma of NCC Education, UK.

Learning overview: Units comprise of weekly video lectures, tutorial exercises, discussion forums and live chat sessions with subject experts. Students will have the opportunity to interact with other students from around the world.

First Year - Level 4 Diploma in Computing (L4DC)

After securing admission in Level 4, the student will be registered with NCC Education in the UK and will study in MET Mumbai Campus. The Syllabus is designed according to the university standards by NCC Education and will be delivered by highly qualified and experienced faculty of MET Mumbai. The examination will be conducted by NCC Education in Mumbai Campus.

After successfully completing Level 4 at MET Mumbai the student can secure admission in Level 5 having following 2 options:

Option 1. The students can study and complete Level 5 (with Cyber security specialisation) at MET Mumbai Campus.

Option 2. The students can opt to study at University in UK and can complete bachelor’s degree from same university. Subject to UK Visa & Immigration approval.

Second Year - Level 5 Diploma in Computing (with Cyber Security) (L5DC CS)

After successfully completing Level 5 at MET Mumbai the student can secure admission in the Final year of Graduation having the following 2 options:

Option 1. The students can opt to study at various universities in the UK and can complete the bachelor’s degree. Subject to UK Visa & Immigration approval

Option 2. Student can get online graduation degree in BSc (Hons) Business Computing and Information Systems from University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).
