The faculty of MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree) organized a four-day ‘Beyond curriculum’ lecture series from July 22nd to 25th 2019 for the students of Final Year B. Pharm.
In an attempt to encourage students towards research and understanding the research scenario, a series of lectures from different pharma streams like Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Microbiology and Biotechnology were organised. Respective subject teachers shared practical knowledge required for higher studies and research projects.
Dr. Abha Doshi, Dr. Poonam Advani, Dr. Sonali Naik, Dr. Rashmi Srivastava, Dr. Madhura Vaidya, Ms. Sindhu Menon, Dr. Vijaya Patil, Ms. Bhagyashri Joshi and Ms. Priyanka Joshi Jain delivered lectures on their specialised research methodologies and techniques.
The sessions were not only informative but also interactive wherein students acquired enormous practical knowledge and learnt new techniques which they could apply while performing the projects now incorporated in the Final year curriculum.
