The MET eMBA Insurance 2006 - 08 batch of over 30 students had their inaugural industrial visit to Goa from the 9th till 13th of January 2008. It was a great mix of industrial visit and sea surfing excursion to goa. Industries visited were Goa Shipyard, it is a Government ship building yard & sister concern of M/s Mazgaon Dock Ltd., Amona & Nevelli Metallurgical Irons are the processing plants of M/s Sesa Goa Ltd., Kingfisher wine factory where the processing of wines was observed and finally, Western-India Shipyard at Vasco, they had organised presentation on ship repairs. WISL have the floating dry-dock specially used to repair the bottom of the ship.
Students were thrilled and excited after seeing all the manufacturing facilities live as it was very informative and an interesting tour to Goa.
