MET Institute of Computer Science conducted a two days workshop on ‘Latest Trends in Advanced Database Techniques’ at MET on 16 – 17 January, 2009. This workshop was attended by industry professionals, faculty, students and other personalities. The well-known speakers who conducted the workshop were Dr. M Sasikumar, Associate Director (Research) – CDAC; Ketan Shah, Incharge - Head of Department Information Technology -   MPSTME, NMIMS University; Dr. Suneeta Sane, Professor Computer Technology Department – VJTI, University of Mumbai; Sudha Sahastrabudhe, Executive – Accenture; Sushil Kulkarni, Professor - Jaihind College were amongst the few multi-faceted speakers. This was one more initiative from MET ICS to enhance and sharpen IT minds.
