Rising Success Index!

Keeping the success graph consistently rising, MET Institute of Computer Science students recorded magnificent victories at various intercollegiate IT fests that were organised by the leading MCA colleges in Mumbai. All the leading IT colleges from across Mumbai participated in these mega Tech fests, ASM–IMCOST, BVMIT, Vivekanad, Somaiya, Thakur, Hiray, SIES were to name a few. The events witnessed large number of students from MCA, MAC- IT, MSc etc streams participating with much enthusiasm. Needless to say that MET ICS teams showcased their talent, creativity and management IT skills at all these events and achieved great success.  

At ‘Eternia’11’ organised by Hiray College on 29 – 30 January. Five MET ICS teams - comprising of Purvesh N. and Chandrashekar T. won the 1st prize in Coding & Debugging, Chandrashekar T won 1st prize in Sudoku. MET ICS team consist of Arvinder C, Dhaval S, Dattaprasad D, Amit V., Dilip M, Kunal D., Purvesh N. and Sanket S. won the 1st prize in Box Cricket Rolling Trophy. At the same event two other teams comprising of Onkar D., Harshit J. & Rakesh S and Madhur K., Amit V., Dhaval S bagged 1st runner up and 2nd runner up in Admad whereas Amit V. in FIFA, won the 1st runner up title.

In another intercollegiate event ’Manthan’11’ that was organised by BVIMT on 10 – 12 February,
MET ICS students recorded multiple wins too, Chandrashekar T won 1st prize in Sudoku and Coding & Debugging. Hemant D. received 1st prize in AV Mix, Parshuram P got 1st prize in IT Quiz, Dhaval S. bagged 1st runner up in Sudoku, team of Prasad M., Jai Kishan G., Pranit S & Santanu B received 1st runner up in AD Mad, Jai Kishan G. won 1st runner up in Logic and Ankit Worlikar gained 1st runner in Pocket Tanks.

That was not it. Yet another magnificent series of victories made MET ICS proud at ‘Zeal’ organised by NCRDSIMS on 15 – 20 February. At this event Rahul K. and Kedar A. won 1st prize in IT Quiz. Harshit J. and Sanket S bagged 1st runner up in Table Tennis where as Masihulla B. and Pranav G. received 1st runner up in Stock Exchange.

At the ‘Pixels’11’ organised by SIES College on 25 – 26 February, MET ICS students registered their win again. Team consisting of Sagar B., Amit V., Kunal D., Rakesh S., Ankit W., Sanket S. won the 1st prize in Football competition and Onkar D. received 1st runner up in Coding & Debugging.

‘Genesis ‘11’ was organised by ASM – IMCOST on 3 – 5 March also witnessed MET ICS students Santanu B. win 1st prize in Solo Singing and team of Jai Kishan G. & Santanu B. bag 1st runner in IT Quiz.

Simultaneously on 3 – 5 March, another group of MET ICS students was displaying their wit & skills at ‘Vista’11’ hosted by TIMSCDR. At this event Rahul K., Swapnil S., won 1st prize in IT Quiz whereas Swapni S. & Vivek T. received 1st runner in Coding & Debugging.
Six multi talented consistent victories to the might of the razor sharp minds. Congratulations MET ICS!
