MET ICS intends to undertake the following initiatives in the near future:

• Establishment of a unique study base among students and faculty
• Linkages with premiere research institutions like Microsoft, IIT, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, etc
• Evolving unique models in distributed computing using grid computing and web services
