Launched the 2nd Batch ‘MET EKLAVYA’ Advanced Diploma in Pharma Management

MET Institute of Distance Learning has launched the 2nd batch of customized corporate Management programme for Merck Serono, India (Pharma Division) on 7th July 2011, in the presences of Prof. Vijay Page, Director General – MET IOM, Ms. Pallavi Mhatre, Academic Coordiantor – MET IDL, Mr. Ashok Bhattacharya, VP Sales & Marketing – Merck and Mr. Sameer Kore, HR Head – Merck Serono.  MET IDL has designed the Advanced Diploma in Pharmaceutical Business Management after taking into consideration the industry and academic needs of pharma industry specially for the Managers of Merck Pharma. Merck Pharma has selected 30 Managers to reap benefit from this course.

There are so many challenges faced by the Managers - this course provides an excellent opportunity for these leaders of industry to learn how to embrace challenges, see opportunities and frame the big picture.

There is a constant need for these executives who can stimulate the economy, develop rapid innovation cycles, and lead their companies and the economy in a new direction. MET IDL aims to help stimulate that change by mentoring them with the help of senior faculties and industry experts.

MET IDL expects that each participant in the program will take away a unique set of insights, frameworks, and strategies for energizing and revolutionizing their organisation.

There will be regular Personal Contact Programme (PCP) and test/exam/assignment to monitor the students progress. By monitoring progress and evaluating the participants on a regular basis, MET IDL is able to adjust the training program.
