Programme Methodology

Every student of MET IDL will be given a starter kit. As soon as one receives this, he/she is ready to embark on their journey of learning. Specially prepared study material will be given to each student. The student is expected to study from the material. Study from the references given will further enhance their learning.

Students can study at their own pace and register for the exams as and when they feel they are prepared for that subject. Examinations will be conducted twice every year at MET, Mumbai and other branches. A student has to register for the examination during the prescribed time. In case a student fails to register for the exam but would still like to appear, he/she can do so by paying the on-the-spot examination fees at the exam centre, provided the exam centre can accommodate the student.

Multiple Specialisations
A student can enrol for more than one Diploma or Advanced Diploma programme simultaneously. For this, the student has to fill the Additional Diploma Form, one for every additional specialisation, and pay the fees accordingly.

Additional Subjects
A student can register for any number of additional subjects by filling up the Additional Subjects Form and paying the necessary fees. On successfully passing the exam, the student will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement for that particular subject.

Library Facility
Library Facility is available for reference books. For further details, contact the librarian.

Fast Track Option
Government officials, defense personnel and working executives who are constantly on the move, can finish the Advanced Diploma programme(s) within one year by appearing and clearing all the papers of Semester I and Semester II together, and then appearing and clearing the Semester III and Semester IV papers in the next examination.
