MET IIT on a roll!

MET IIT has come a long way since it's establishment in 1997.

MET Institute of Information Technology celebrated the 10th Foundation Day on April 7, 2007 at the MET Convention Centre. The evening shone with prominent luminaries on the stage and in the audience. Vijay Gangal, Vice President (Outsourcing Services) – Capgemini, Rajiv Vaishnav, Regional Director (Western Region) – NASSCOM and V.G. Samant, Animation Guru (Director of "HANUMAN") – India's first 2D Animated Movie were only some of the many eminent persons present. V G Sawant and the Trustees of MET League of Colleges inaugurated the event.

The students of the Diploma in Advanced Computer Arts (DACA) displayed various pieces of their work including 2D and 3D paintings and model artefacts. The magnificent display of creativity left everyone spell bound. On this occasion, MET IIT felicitated employee alumni including Dilip Tikle, CEO Hexavarsity, Prasad Kulkarni, Head Training – Cybage, Prof. K M Hussain, Eminent DAC faculty, Kedar Khote, 3D expert with Crest India Private Ltd. and Shilpa Ranade, Faculty - IDC, IIT Powai amongst others. Corporate patrons like Cybage and Outdoor Advertising were also honoured and appreciated. The dazzling evening ended with a promise of continued excellence by MET IIT for the years to come.
