Candid Conversation

'The best way of learning anything is by doing it' is an adage we believe in at MET. Keeping in mind this popular adage, the Journalism and Entertainment students of MET IMM were taught the techniques of interviewing a celebrity with a real life experience. Harshit Saxena, the winner of a number of reality shows like Amul Star Voice of India, Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star, and Music ka Maha Muqqabla and young film music composer and winner of the Upcoming Music Composer Award in 2012 at Music Mirchi Awards for his song Haale Dil from 'Murder 2' graciously walked in to the MET Institute of Mass Media to provide one such opportunity.

The enthusiastic students asked a range of interesting questions regarding the amalgamation of study of physiotherapy with passion for music, the audition experience, nervousness during auditions, the source of inspiration, competition versus co-operation in the music industry and so on which Harshit answered in a candid manner. He also gave a sneak view about the cut throat competition in the film industry especially in the music arena. He spoke about his struggles, his tears and perseverance until he hit it big.
