MET IMM - 3 Wins! 4 Milestones! 7 Bylines! 30 Landmark days!

The New Year has brought lots of landmark moments at the MET Institute of Mass Media.

Early January ’08, the Entertainment students used their networking prowess and shone at the Pune International Film Festival. They managed to strike an excellent rapport with award wining director Anurag Kashyap and got a special invite to the screening of his unreleased film 'Paanch'.

This was followed by a historic hattrick by the Advertising students at India’s largest communication festival FESTOCOMM hosted by Symbiosis. In a tough battle of creativity and wits they won three awards – Ad Mad (2nd prize), Mad Ad (2nd prize) and Mobile photography (1st prize).

The Journalism students got their first byline in the Times of India (WSP) as part of the Young Opinion bureau. They were part of the landmark ‘Republic Day’ issue.

Journalism student, Prathmesh Jadhav shared the commentary box with none other than Ajit Wadekar at the All India Radio at the Cricket Finals in January.
