Shyam Benegal - an iconic Indian director and screenwriter visited the MET Institute of Mass Media. The creator of a new genre of cinema called ‘Alternate Cinema’ or ‘Middle Cinema’. He is the recipient of many covetous awards like Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award beside multiple Filmfare awards. He was appreciative of the world class infrastructure facilities that are made available at MET to shape the future media professionals.
