MET Institute of Mass Media organised the triangular cricket series, as an initiative to increase fellowship between alumni and current batches on December 12 to January 9, 2010 at Azad Maidan ground.

This tournament was played for bringing together existing students and the alumni (consisting of M2 and M3) as a team to re-establish their supremacy in the field of sports and team work. There were 4 matches played including final between alumni and M5. M5 team defeated the alumni team in triangular cricket series.

The very purpose of having the MET IMM tournament was to increase friendliness and bonding between them.
