Stars Twinkle at MET

MET Institute of Mass Media (MET IMM), India’s premium M school in mass media is closely associated with majority of the Entertainment and Media houses. MET League of Colleges hosted the screening of two short films, ‘Aansoo Bane Moti’ and ‘Ummeed’ on February 28, 2011 at the MET Convention Centre.
CA. Sunil G. Karve, Founder – MET League of Colleges and Mrs. Vishakha Bhujbal – MET with the celebrity stars lighted the inaugural lamp.

Amole Gupte Cinema’s theatre and cinema sessions along with children Pali Chimbai Municipal School and Santacruz Municipal School have resulted into these two short films which are written, enacted and directed by the children themselves during their summer vacations of 2009 - 2010.

Prominent entertainment celebrities like Shahid Kapoor, Aditi Govitrikar, Vishal Bharadwaj, Kundan Shah, Abhishek Kapoor and Abhishek Chaubey were a part of this event. They along with Amole Gupte were very appreciative about the effort and talent displayed by the children at their tender age, in the field of Cinema. The entire event was executed by the students of MET IMM.

C.A Sunil G Karve, Founder- MET along with the celebrities felicitated the ‘Junior Stars’ with certificates as a mark of appreciation.
