Take 3 at 16:9 fest

MET IMM students won 3 competitions at the ‘sixteen: nine’ International Film Festival organized by UPG College of Management on January 15 -16, 2010. Over 25 countries and 100 national colleges participated in this festival. MET IMM student Ruchika Kapoor bangs the 1st prize ‘Critic Calling’ – students have to write a review of the film which was short listed in the 16:9 festival. The best reviews and holistic reports made the MET IMM student won an internship at BigOye.com. Priyal Shah, Gulamwaris Thakur, Divyaa Iyer, Tejashri Pandit, Urmi Mehta won the 1st prize ‘misc-en-scene’ - in this competition, sets were put up and students had made their movie in midst. They used all the resources available to make the film extraordinary extempore tale. Pruthujay Raghani won the 2nd prize ‘tint-a-tale’ - in this event students had to produce a picture storyboard consisting of five photographs clicked on the venue centered on a color assigned to them.
