MET connects with Dubai
METCONNECT Dubai - 2009, was an exclusive meeting of minds from the corporate, academic and student world. It was organised by the MET AMDC - Centre for Insurance Training, Research and Development (CITRD) in Dubai on February 16 & 17, 2009 to introduce MET League of Colleges to the corporate world in the Middle East with a focus on placements. more>>>
Grameen Expedition 2009
MET Schools of Management organised a series of rural visits through the MET Grameen Expedition. The aim of these visits was to encourage the students, to make them aware of the industries that flourish in rural Maharashtra and also familiarising them with the rural market, its demands and customers. Moreover, the main thought behind the expedition was to supplement the knowledge received in the classroom and help students see its applicability in the real world. The students visited industrial units at Baramati, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Solapur, Ratnagiri, Nasik and Kolhapur in Maharashtra. more>>>
Mela times at MET
As part of the 2 Decades Celebration, MET League of Colleges held MET MELA on March 18, 2009 at the MET grounds. This event was well attended by over 2500 students, academicians, staff and corporates. Lighting of the traditional lamp by Trustee, marked the inauguration of the MET Mela. This set the mood for the excitement to follow. Captivating dances on Rajasthan, Gujarat and Malvan backed by folk music items were performed by MET staff and students. more>>>
MET announces the 'Right to Vote' initiative
MET League of Colleges in association with Agni and Jaago Re.com inaugurated the awareness drive to create a movement for the youth, to select and elect their leader for the forth coming Lok Sabha elections. The entire objective was to demand for a better life and future by electing capable individuals and political parties to power at the centre.
Be Sharp and Smart
Dale Carniege Session was a half day workshop with a high impact presentation on personality development, communication skills and inter-personal grooming. It was a workshop which was highly interactive using games, communication tools and how to conduct individual selves. This was conducted for all MET SOM students.
