Clean Juhu Beach Drive by Responsible 18

As the city's most worshipped elephant god bid adieu for the year, the insensitive mankind, being reluctant to environmental issues like over the years, happened to leave back incredible non-biodegradable waste and pollutants during the immersions.

MET Institute of Management - MMS (Master in Management Studies) Batch 2015-17 organized an independent initiative for a beach cleanup drive on September 28th 2015 at Juhu Beach, Vile Parle wherein the students worked for environmental betterment by extending a helping hand to the MCGM and the civic authorities.

The sight at the beach was disheartening with wilted flower garlands, coconut shells and plastic materials strewn about by the devotees. The clean-up drive began early in the morning and went on for about 4 hours. Led by Shivangi and Purvesh, in this drive about 18 responsible MMS students contributed their best.
