The Best of India Wins the Taste of India

Amul, the well known brand of the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd, established in 1946 celebrated November 26th, 2015 as the National Milk Day on the occasion of 94th birth anniversary of Dr. Verghese Kurien who is known as the Father of White Revolution in India.

A series of events were organised to mark this celebration. MET MMS teams (Master in Management Studies) from MET Institute of Management participated in the Cricket trophy, led by Captain Sohail Ansari, it won the Runners Up trophy and a cash prize of Rs 11,111. Whereas Avinash Bankar received the Best Batsman trophy.

The second team participated in the Business Plan competition in which top B-Schools in India contested. It was held at Chetna's Institute of Management and Research with some of the Best Business Schools in India like NMIMS, Welingkar's (WeSchool), SIES teams putting up the plans and strategies to attain the win. Two MET teams presented their Business Plans and one team of Mohmad Inamdar and Aditya Deole bagged the second Runners Up prize. Congratulations to both the winning MET teams.
