Ms. Nisha Sharma - Senior Consultant, Global Head – SOA Worldwide, TCS had delivered a lecture on ‘e-Empowerment of Business Decisions – A Global Perspective' at MET recently.
Faculty, staff and students from MET and Institute of Software Development & Research attended the same. It was a highly interactive cum productive session for the students. This visit gave Ms. Nisha Sharma a holistic perspective of MET.

IT Minds Unite
MET IIT, NASSCOM & Technology Law Forum have joined hands to conduct a year long series of lectures & discussions. The discussions will be spearheaded by Rajiv Vaishnav & MET IIT experts and will shed light on various topics related to Technology, Law, Cyber Crime, Documentation Procedures etc. The first lecture in the series was a focused Tech-Law Discussion Series for the Animation and Gaming Industry through the Game Industry Forum for Technology and Trade (GIFTT) platform. Prominent speakers included Animation Guru Ram Mohan, internationally acclaimed Film Director Govind Nihalani and eminent lawyer - N S Nappainai.

Workshop on Careers in IT
MET Institute of Software Development and Research held an informative workshop for students aspiring to pursue a career in the field of Information Technology. The workshop covered modules in IT and its scope, recent trends, role of software development in IT, software development as a career and requirements of software development. MET faculty experts Prof. Nilesh Shirke & Prof. Kailash Thakur facilitated the sessions.
