MET Nashik – Milestones
• March 2008 - Faculty of MET Institute of Pharamacy, Nashik - Mrs. J. M. Bulbule, Assistant Professor in Pharmacognosy and Mr. S. S. Sonawane, Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Chemistry have been sanctioned two research projects. These projects, titled 'Phytopharmacological Studies of the plant Bauhinia excelsa (Family - Leguminoceae)' and 'Study on Approaches to Expedite & Simplify the Stress Testing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs)' are being funded by the University of Pune for a sum of Rs. 3 Lakhs. Research indeed gets edge.
• December 2007 – MET at Bhujbal Knowledge City, Nashik was awarded the trophy for the ‘Best Stall for Counselling and Presentation’ amongst 320 stalls at Dnyanganga 2007 – an event which witnessed a footfall of approx 3,00,000 visitors. Eminent personalities like Honourable Mayor of Aurangabad amongst others, personally walked up to MET stall and commended the efforts taken towards guiding young minds.
• November 2007 - Her Excellency, the President of India Smt. Pratibha Patil dedicated the education complex of Mumbai
Educational Trust at Bhujbal Knowledge City, Nashik In the service of society and the nation on the 28th Day of November
in the presence of national & international leaders and dignitaries.
• June 2007 - MET Institute of Management introduces PGDFT – Post Graduate Diploma in Foreign Trade affiliated to Mumbai
University.
