FDP on D-Technology and De-stress

MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma) successfully conducted Faculty Development Programme on
'D-Technology and De-stress'. The programme was inaugurated by lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Dr. U. B. Hadkar, Director, MET IOP, Dr S. D. Bhosale, Principal, IOP (Diploma), Ms Ritu Uppal, HOD, MET CET and Ms Abhilasha Sharma, FDP Co-ordinator. In the first session, MET CET Head, Ms. Ritu Uppal spoke about latest trends in Educational Technology, use of Social Media and Google products for education, PowerPoint presentation for Effective Teaching.

The eminent corporate trainer Ms Seema Dasgupta, Director of Keystone Development Centre (Samarpan Corporate), a Management Consultancy firm and Mr Hirak Mukharjee, Corporate Trainer (Samarpan Corporate) were the mentor and speakers for the second session on 'Powerful Well Being and Stress Free Living (De-stress)'. This interactive workshop included understanding of root causes of stress, mind and energy field (brain wave patterns), electro-magnetic field, commonly employed techniques for managing stress, techniques based on laws of science, simple & quick ways for being balanced.

This workshop benefited the participants from various Pharmacy and Polytechnic colleges of Mumbai region to understand aspects of self and what is needed to live stress free life in current scenario. This programme was hosted by Ms Abhilasha Sharma and Ms Deepali Khabale and concluded with Ms Neha Barfiwala proposing the vote of thanks.
