MRV Recycles its way to Victory

Just this was once again proven when MRV added another feather in its cap!
On 28th July, 2015 MRV received the prestigious ‘TERI SEARCH IMPACT Award’ for its continuous hard work, unfailing dedication and thoughtful contribution towards making this Earth a livable planet. The event was organised by TERI (The Energy And Resource Institute) under project SEARCH (Sensitisation, Education and Awareness on Recycling for Cleaner Habitat).
The glittering ceremony took place at Mysore Association Hall, Matunga East, Mumbai. Twenty best schools participated in the award function. MET Rishikul Vidyalaya were was adjudged as the recipient of this coveted honour and was bestowed this award for collecting the highest amount of dry recyclable waste - a massive approximate of 750 kgs and 93 kgs of used Tetra- Pak cartons.
Ms. Khushvi Shah and Ms. Kalyani Ambole, MRV students of Grade 8 and 9 respectively, were felicitated as the Tetra -Pak ambassador and the STEP leader for their contribution to work towards the cleaner habitat. MRV Principal, Ms. Kavita Sanghvi, was invited to share the journey of MRV as a school with TERI. She elaborated on the effective method of sensitizing and inculcating the green practices among students and parents.
MRV is determined to make a difference for the life on Earth.
