The sharp moves by MRV

If you thought that strategy is meant for the matured, then MET Rishikul Vidyalaya students will make you to think again. MRV students have been consistently winning many chess competitions and tournaments. The unique pedagogy employed MRV develops left and right brain, making our students a cut above the rest.  

The youngest shining star, Master Atharva Tayade – 9 years from Std. IV is an internationally rated player by World Chess Federation – FIDE with a rating of 1472. He attended the U-11 Nationals in Chennai and was globally recognised in the International Open Tournament in Orissa (May 2010).

The another bright students from MRV made us proud at the Chess Competition conducted by the District Sports Organisation (Andheri Taluka). Master Harshin Shah – 11 years from grade VI is ranked the 4the and Master Atharva Tayade from grade IV is 7th.

At the Dr. Prakash Vaze Inter School Chess Tournament MRV won 5 trophies namely – Winners and Runners up in the category ‘Upto Grade II’, Runners up in the category ‘Upto Grade IV’, Runners up in the category ‘Upto Grade VI’ and the Best School Trophy.
