Strategic moves lead to win
MET Rishikul Vidyalaya students recently demonstrated exceptional strategy skills when they won Dr. Vaze Inter School Chess Team Championship on August 28, 2011. In the tournament over 600 participants were contending for the title, defeating them MRV team bagged the first place in the category 'upto IV std' under the guidance of coach Mr. Rajesh Bandekar. The winning team comprised of Aryaan Gokarn (Grade IV), Arshia Dolwani (Grade III), Dev Panchal (Grade III) and Aditya Guhagarkar (Grade III). Aryan Avlani (Grade IV), Aditya Guhagarkar (Grade III), Dev Panchal (Grade III) also won 3 individual board prizes.
Winning team received the school trophy, winners all were awarded individual medals and certificates.
