Parent/Teacher Training

At MRV we believe that first the teachers and parents should be educated and then only the child can be taught properly. Therefore, all the parents and teachers undergo special training programmes to understand the nuances of raising a child and managing their lives. We hold regular sessions for the parents and teachers inorder that their learnings are enhanced and they are thus able to teach the child in the best manner.

• Specialised Training - All the Parents and Teachers have to undergo the specialised MRV training that enables them to understand and handle the Children.

• Togetherness camps - Inorder to keep togetherness alive, every six months, the entire MRV staff, faculty and parents go for togetherness camps for 4 days

• Weekly review meetings - We hold weekly meetings of the teachers inorder to discuss the progress of the class. These meetings are minuted and reviewed regularly.

• RTWD for teachers - Once a month, we have Rishikul Togetherness and Workshop Day (RTWD). This is provide the teachers with more advanced teaching methods, tools and techniques. Experts from various fields share their knowledge and experiences with the teachers.

• Advance Training Modules - Every week the parents come together for lectures and discussions that provide deeper understanding and insights into the development of child.

• Food Seva - Once a month, parents get a chance to get food for the 24 children and 5 to 6 teachers. This food is actually served by the respective children thus boosting their Self-Esteem when they say "Today I Served". It also helps them imbibe the spirit of SEVA. Another benefit of Food Seva is that the child eats 23 different kinds of home food in a month and thus develop tastes for different foods.
