Every student of MET IDL will be given a starter kit. As soon as one receives this, he/she is ready to embark on their journey of learning. Specially prepared study material will be given to each student. The student is expected to study from the material. Study from the references given will further enhance their learning. Students who opt for the online option are given a username and password. They have the added facility to test themselves at the end of every chapter
(see Study Process).
Students can study at their own pace and register for the exams as and when they feel they are prepared for that subject. Examinations will be conducted twice every year at MET, Mumbai and at the various study centres. A student has to register for the examination during the prescribed time. In case a student fails to register for the exam but would still like to appear, he/she can do so by paying the on-the-spot examination fees at the exam centre, provided the exam centre can accommodate the
Cutting the Distance - 'The Online Option'
A student can be virtually present at MET, Mumbai by virtue of the online option at a small extra cost. This will give the student access to all the guest lectures, workshops and seminars that take place at MET, Mumbai. Also, it will enable the student to interact with other students and take part in threaded discussions, case study analysis, and other feedback sessions. The student can also check his/her level of understanding by attempting the self-evaluatory quizzes.
Multiple Specialisations
A student can do more than one Diploma or Advanced Diploma programme simultaneously. For this, the student has to fill the Multiple Specialisation form, one for every additional specialisation, and pay the fees accordingly.
Additional Subjects
A student can register for any number of additional subjects by filling up the additional subjects forms and paying the necessary fees. On successfully passing the exam, the student will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement for that particular subject.
Library Facility
Library Facility is available for reference books.

Placement Assistance
MET IDL offers placement assistance to all its students. We will guide you as to how to prepare your resume, and even give tips on how to conduct yourself during group discussions and personal interviews. We will then check for opportunities available depending on the qualifications, experience and aptitude of the participant and set up interviews accordingly.
