Unscrambling Emails

Ms. Preeti Shirodkar, Associate Professor, Language Studies, MET IOM, released her third Book entitled Unscrambling Emails on 29th May, 2013. A topper at the B.A and M.A levels, a Merit Scholar and an academician with over two decades of experience in teaching and training, Ms. Preeti Shirodkar briefly spoke about upon the contents of the book and its varied aspects. The book was released at the hands of Mr. D. T. Joseph, Former IAS Office and Collector, Government of India. Prof. Vijay Page, Director General, MET IOM, in a tête-à-tête with Mr. Joseph, who has himself been a student and teacher of English Literature, touched upon the fact that language is undergoing a transition. Mr. Joseph shared many interesting anecdotes about how English was used and abused by many, during his tenure as a public servant. The book release function was attended by Directors, Deans, faculty members and staff of MET and select professionals for whom the book would prove to be extremely useful.
